As a lifelong athlete and wellness advocate, I bring a plethora of personal and professional experience to my training. A former two-sport varsity athlete I’m dedicated and passionate about meeting clients where they are at and coaching them to achieve their full fitness potential.
In 2004 during my last year of Physical Education in college I suffered a serious accident and broke my spine. As an elite athlete, two-sport, scholarship athlete, I understood the value of grit and perseverance, but this life-changing injury really taught me to not quit. Obtaining my BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer and making teaching exercise my career was a no-brainer, now with 10 years of experience my ability to share these lessons with people from a variety of backgrounds is one of my greatest strengths. Whether you are a 1st time gym goer, fresh out of rehab, a fitness lover who needs a push/change or an elite athlete, I will work with you to help you achieve your goals.
My positive outlook and commitment to training is infectious and (I like to think) inspiring. I have an athletic style with a big focus on gaining muscular strength through a thorough understanding of how to achieve and build core strength, gained through first-hand experience.
